Today, I got up on time. I was mostly ready for work at my new job which is kind of stressful. Start up in schools is always stressful and a new place intensifies that. Twenty minutes before I am supposed to leave...I get a call from my sitter. She is throwing up and can't make it. (She contacted me later to say she was being admitted to the hospital and having surgery tomorrow.)
My mom, bless her heart, threw on her clothes at 6:40 and headed over. Middle school/high school open house was tonight. That means my mom couldn't leave until I got home at 8pm. Long day for everyone.
Thank you mom for jumping in when I needed you.
