One thing that kind of stinks (ok, SUCKS) about being the only parental participant in these parts is that I cannot be everywhere at once. Like today, there was one kid in need of supervision and another at a cross country meet. I would be wallowing in guilt over not making the cross country meet where my little Miss Josey FINALLY beat her personal best. Luckily, Grandpa went to cheer her on. As far as Jojo is concerned Grandpa is as good as mom any day of the week.
